Weeklong Workshop  (5 Days) with Janice Tanton at Haliburton School of Fine Arts

via www.flemingc.on.ca

Check it out if you are in Ontario! I’ll be teaching at Haliburton School of the Arts, Fleming College – two programs at the first of July. I’m very excited to have the opportunity to return to the SFA where I was first inspired as a student when I was a young girl. Located in one of the most beautiful cottaging areas in all of Ontario, the Haliburton School of Fine Art is a part of Sir Sandford Fleming College. Folks there are friendly – the setting and facilities are second to none.

The first workshop ( 5 days) will focus on learning techniques of the Old Masters as they apply to contemporary painting practice. These techniques can impart many effects when coupled with your own creativity. On the Saturday, I will conduct a workshop on contemporary plein air impressionist techniques lakeside! Come join me for an informative and exciting exploration of old meets new.
